Help Us Support Our Students

Take a moment and think back to your grade school days. What did it look like?

It’s likely that your teacher covered the walls with colorful decorations, you had a backpack with your favorite cartoon character on it, and you got to school quickly and safely every morning.

Unfortunately, most students around the world don’t get to enjoy school the way we do in America.

In fact, the students who live in the communities around our village walk for miles to get to school, often learn on an empty stomach, and don’t even have their own desks.

Here’s a peek into one of the classrooms. Right now, four students have to share a single desk during the school day, which makes staying focused and organized a real challenge.

It’s our goal to set each of these students up in their very own desks.

These students sacrifice so much to be in school and excel despite the circumstances. We firmly believe that equipping them with the best materials and supplies will make a significant impact and allow them to further take advantage of their educational opportunities.

For just $30, you can help us buy one of these desks for a student in need.

And we’re not alone. Educators everywhere agree that the physical environment of a classroom has a significant impact on a child’s ability to learn—that includes providing proper materials and supplies like individual desks.

Go back to those images of your childhood classrooms.

Imagine being able to give a student in need a small part of the experiences you had. Today you can by donating to help us provide desks for 350 students in the Mbuguni area.

We are blessed to have a donor who will match your donations dollar-for-dollar up to $5,000, helping us reach our overall goal of $10,000.

We know how this past year has been difficult for so many people, so we appreciate the sacrifice of your gifts even more during these hard times.

Thank you for your support and for helping us make a difference!
