SMS Terms and Conditions

Siouxland Tanzania Educational Medical Ministries (“STEMM,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) offers an SMS messaging program to communicate with supporters about fundraising events, donation opportunities, event registration, auction activity, organizational news, and other STEMM-related updates.

Consent to Receive Messages

By providing your mobile telephone number and opting in to receive text messages from STEMM, or by texting a designated keyword to a STEMM number, you consent to receive SMS or MMS messages from STEMM. Consent to receive text messages is not required as a condition of making a donation, registering for an event, or purchasing goods or services.

Message Frequency and Charges

Message frequency varies depending on your interaction with STEMM and participation in our events. During an active fundraising event, you may receive multiple event-related or transactional messages. Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile service plan.

Opting Out

You may unsubscribe at any time by replying STOP to any message. After opting out, you may receive one final message confirming your request. You will not receive additional marketing or informational text messages unless you opt in again.

Supported Carriers

Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to the availability and reliability of your wireless carrier’s network.

Changes to These Terms

STEMM may update these SMS Terms and Conditions periodically. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
